Julia Walsh '08

Description: Julia is a senior at CD and is ranked number 2 in the senior class. She lives in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia and is continuing the family tradition of attending Cardinal Dougherty.

Activities: Varsity Soccer (Captain, All-Catholic), Indoor/Outdoor Track (Captain, All-Catholic), Eminence (Yearbook, Editor), The Prelate (Newspaper, Editor), Best Friends, CSC (Community Service Corps) Officer, FACE, NHS Treasurer, HOBY, Pro-Life Club  

Favorite Part of CD: The sense of community makes me feel right at home.

 

Alysia Lester  '09

Description: Alysia is a junior at CD.  She lives in Philadelphia and has two sisters and one brother. 

Activities: volleyball

 Congrats to the Chess Team as they continue on in reclaiming their Catholic League title with a 4 to 1 thrashing of Father Judge.  Team was led by Duc Nguyen with a 45 second win.

CD Varsity & JV Bowling teams sweep LaSalle remaining one spot out of a playoff picture.  Player of Match honors goes to Brittany Becker.  Nick Torres also had high games.  JV Player of the Game is Sr Victor Torres.  Greg Neal JV also had a high game.
