What's Going on at Lansdale Catholic?...
Catholic Schools Week
| |
To Start off Catholic Schools Week, the lansdale catholic "Face" crew headed off to attend Cardinal Rigali's press-conferecne on how to enhance catholic education. Here it was anounced that our school was to receive a new facility to learn at. We were able to talk to the bishop and had gracefully entertained reporters with statments twards our feelings. This is day one of catholic schools week.

This past week at Lansdale Catholic was one of the most exciting times ever! It was our Spirit Week! All through the week we celebrated the fact that we go to high school at LC. On Monday, we kicked off the homeroom decorating contest. During this contest, each homeroom was given until Thursday to decorate their individual rooms in the theme of our spirit week, which was Hollywood! Then, on Tuesday many students went back to LC at night and watched The Little Giants in our auditorium and ate ice cream, courtesy of the student council. Next, on Wednesday, everyone but the seniors took the PSAT's, and we all got out of class early! After that, on Thursday night, we had a big bonfire and a bunch of spirited activities that almost the entire school was involved in! On Friday we had our big homecoming football game! We won! It was great and at halftime they announced the homecoming King and Queen. Finally on Saturday, we had the awesome Homecoming Dance! Most of the school rallied together in our gym for a great night of music, dancing, and fun! That pretty much sums up the last week. Don't forget to email us! And I'm outy! Jeff Smith |

Hey everyone. This is Kristen Schoeffling giving the update for Lansdale Catholic High School. Just recently, we have finished our first season of kickball. Unfortunatley, one of the teams lost the first game in a rock, paper scissors shoot battle. It was a huge upset, but we all still had a great time. Our next intramural sport will be flag football. In other news, the LC football team, just finished their season with a final record of 12-2. They had an amazing season and the FACE program hopes to send its congratulations to Mr. Algeo and the senior varsity Crusaders.
