What's Happening at Saint Pius X??
* About our FACE activity:
Being part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s FACE program, FACE members are encouraged to decide, plan, and run one activity each year to promote their school and Catholic Education. The SPX FACE members this year decided on a Halloween Spook-fest that took place within the walls of St. Pius school, inviting all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders from the surrounding area to attend.
After weeks of planning, promoting, and preparing, October 24th was a day of success. Forty dressed up middle-schoolers entered the transformed hallways of St. Pius. They were spooked and scared in the Haunted House manned by FACE members and volunteers. After making their way through, the students were greeted with warm apple cider, cookies, and other Halloween treats in the cafeteria. They were free to wonder over to the Apples on a String station, try their luck at Bobbing for Apples, play Spooky-Bingo or sing their hearts out at Spooky-Karaoke. At the end of the night, when asked, nearly every student raised their hand, saying that they had had a great and scary night!

*The new high school's name has been announced as Pope John Paul II High School.
The new school will feature over 30 wireless classrooms, five science labs, three computer labs, library//media resource center, television studio, two art rooms, choral/band rooms, 90-seat chapel, 432-seat cafeteria, 1,200-seat auditorium, 1,000-seat main gymnasium, auxiliary gymnasium & fitness center, 6 competition level sports fields, running track with all-weather surface, and 6 competition tennis courts.
Construction will begin in 2008 on the Upper Providence Township school, with an expected opening date of September 2010. The initial capacity will be 1200 students and can be further expanded through the construction of an addition, which would expand the school to accomodate up to 1600 students

Description: I'm a Senior at St. Pius X. I am a member of the Varsity tennis team.I'm an altar server for Most Blessed Sacrament Parish. I'm an aunt to 10 (yes 10!). I'm a dancer and a member of the drama club.
Hobbies: I love dancing, singing (in the shower), reading, listening to music, hanging out with friends, and meeting new people. I'm always up for anything!

I love the fact that its small because you can know everyone in your school!
