Our school prayer at Bishop McDevitt High School was created by the Class of 2008 on the occasion of the school's fiftieth anniversary. We begin each school day with this prayer.
Holy Mary,
Through your Son, Jesus,
Give us wisdom to know what is right;
Courage to do what is good;
And strength to live our faith.
Help us to seek virtue, achieve excellence
And celebrate our diversity.
Our Mother, our Guide,
Maria impende juvamen.
Mary, lend us your assistance.
