8/2 Student Council Camp begins 8/3 Show Auditions 6:00 to 9:00pm 8/5 Fall Physicals Due for Sports 8/9 Instrumental Camps begin / Jazz, String and Concert Bands 8/16 Forensic Camps begin Elementary 9:00am to 12:00pm & High School 1:00 to 3:00pm 8/22 Varsity Football Camp begins 8/23 Freshman Welcome 4:30 to 8:30pm part 1 (Beginning of alphabet) 8/24 Freshman Welcome 4:30 to 8:30pm part 2 (Last hald of alphabet) 8/26 Roster Changes for Seniors ( 9 to 11:30am) and Juniors (12:30 to 3:00pm) 8/27 Roster Changes for Sophs (9 to 11:30am) and Freshman (12:30 to 3:00) 8/30 Administration Meetings

Where Has the Summer Gone?
The finishing touches are being completed here at
Bishop Shanahan. Classrooms are ready, floors are polished
(so much so,that you can see yourself in them), bulletin
boards are newly decorated with "Welcome Back", and
goals for the new year. The only things missing are
students, and little by little, one activity at a time,
those smiling faces are beginning to appear.
Everyone reports having had a wonderful summer;
all are looking forward to seeing their friends again.
Many of the students are anxious to begin, and have
high hopes for this new year- (one of the gifts of being
an educator is the fact that every new year begins with
high hopes! We are so lucky to do what we do!)
So as the summer winds down, and the school year
begins, we thank God for the blessings of the summer
and pray for His graces to accomplish His plan for us
during this new school year.
Please take time to look in on us from time to time
during this school year! We would love to share our
school year with you!
